the best way to layer your hair without being a proffesional is to use a razor. like a straight razor. to go arourd your face hold the hair out and go down the hair strands with the razor. it will looke cute

Get it cut professionally. When amatuers attempt to cut their own hair (especially layer it!) hazard results.

Please go get it cut professionally no matter how confident you are. It will save you money compared on what you’ll need for a decent wig.

    Good luck!

Well I’d recommend going to a salon to get it done, but if you know what you’re doing try this. Wash your hair first, and then comb it out so it’s straight. Then, with one of those large long clips, scoop the top layer of hair on what ever side you want up, and trim the bottom so it’s sorta layered. Repeat and when all sides are complete, take out the clip, and cut that layer so it’s sorter the the bottom layer. Hope this at least sort of helps!!

Ok this is the way to layer it. ( I was curious about it two months ago too)
Creating layers in your hair mainly consists of geometry. When you are creating layers, you need to go vertically, not horizontally. Holding the section straight up makes gradual layers. If you want it a little more noticablem you go pull the section a little bit more to the other side of the head. Hope this helps!

Other than cutting your own bangs, there is NO way that you can cut your own hair. Even the pros do not cut their own hair – what are you thinking?
