I enter lots of sweepstakes too. The people that spend a lot of time doing this always tell you that key to winning is persistence. If you enter lots of sweepstakes every day, you will eventually win a prize.
With an Instant Win, you’ll find out right away if you won anything. With any other type of sweep, it could be months before they pick a winner. You can’t get discouraged if you don’t see a win right away. Again, most seasoned sweepers will tell you that it takes a couple months for the wins to start rolling in. Some quick tips to help you start winning:
*Don’t concentrate on just the high value sweeps. The smaller ones usually give out more prizes.
*Only enter sweeps if you want or can sell the prize. Remember that you need to pay taxes on your wins. Make sure it’s worth it.
*Look for “skill” sweeps. Most people skip the ones that require essays, photos, or recipes. If you enter, your odds are better.
*Take a look at the Blog sweeps. The prizes are usually smaller, but there are far fewer people competing for them.
*Stay positive. Sweeping is a hobby and it’s supposed to be fun.
