where do you find legitimate websites for freebies?

So, I have read a post asking for websites of where to find free samples and freebies. However, I have looked at some of those like the Johnson & Johnson parent kit and the beechnut parent kit…which is a phone number to call and they don’t seem legitimate to me…how do you know if they are and which ones actually send you the stuff?

Walmart.com has a lot of free samples. On the left hand side, scroll down to “In Stores Now” then “Free Samples.” Just fill out the little form and you’ll get your items in 4-6 weeks.
I don’t know too many manufacturers who mail home freebies anymore, but oftentimes, you can find great coupons to print (many will allow 2 prints if you hit the browser’s back button). My favorite is johnsonsbaby.com in the “Special Offers” section.
You can also join various forums or follow up on blogs (the ones by stay-at-home moms are best). They help you to match up weekly and monthly sales and coupons as well as alert you of new offers. Many of them also hold contests.

There are lots of great freebies available on the web. You can go right to the sponsor, or you can go to a freebie website that gathers links for lots of free offers. Many of the other sites people have listed here are all available through my favorite site, SweepsAdvantage.com. The free items are all under the Freebies link. Last time I checked, there were over 4,000 freebies up for grabs.

if you want free samples, I would check for it. They sort through and find the legit samples so you don’t have to. They are great because they are updated daily and all of their offers are “catch free”, that means no long surveys, no pay offers. They also have a e-mailing list where they send you the free samples listed on their site. I use that so I get them in my email (but IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO GET THE FREE SAMPLES). Their descriptions are pretty funny too! If you are looking for a specific type of free sample, there is a categories list and a search bar right above categories so that you can do searches.
