The Hauppauge HD PVR allows users to record HD content off a cable or satellite set top box to their computers hard drive, and from the recordings, create HD quality DVDs for their personal media libraries. The HD PVR is one of the only mass marketed HD personal video recorders presently sold to the consumer.
